Outlook calendar tracking not updating meeting acceptances
Tell us about your experience with our site. When tracking meeting request responses, if the responder selects "do not send response", i can't track if it was accepted or not. Is there a fix to this? I am fine with not getting emails for the respondants if they are not editting anything but Outlook should be able to still tell me if they accepted or not.

Keep in touch and stay productive with Teams and Officeeven when you're working remotely. The changes don't affect smaller meetings. In the past, when you used Office to send a meeting invitation to hundreds of attendees, you might have been unable to update or cancel the invitation. This occurred because Outlook listed each person who accepted, tentatively accepted, or declined on the To line of the invitation, and there's a limit to the number of individuals who can be listed on an email message or meeting invitation.
If hundreds of people responded to the invitation, you would be locked out of your meeting. If you're using a version of Outlook that hasn't been updated, you won't see the full list of attendees. In Officethe maximum number of recipients on any sent item, whether it's a normal email message or meeting invitation, is When you send an email message or a meeting invitation to a distribution list, the distribution list only counts as 1 recipient.
This was an issue for meetings because the list of meeting recipients and the list of responses were tracked by the same property on the meeting item.
So the meeting organizer would send the invitation to a distribution list 1 recipientand as members of the distribution list responded to the meeting, each person was individually added into the recipients list to track their response eventually causing the recipients list to surpass after enough people responded. Outlook clients used the same property when displaying the list of recipients on the To line and when displaying the list of responses on the Tracking tab. How responses are currently tracked The list of recipients is still tracked by the legacy property, but the list of responses is now tracked by a new, separate property on the meeting item.
To ensure legacy clients continue to show individual responses for most meetings, Office will continue to track responses in the existing recipients property until there are or more recipients.
This means that there is no change in the experience for meetings with fewer than recipients.Shakespeare reels
After a meeting has or more recipients, only updated clients will show the accurate responses for the meeting. In Officethe maximum number of recipients isbut a size of was selected as the cut-off to stop tracking responses to give a buffer for the following two scenarios:.
If a meeting is forwarded by an attendee, the forwarded recipients will always be added into the list of recipients, unless the list now includes more than attendees.
If the organizer adds new attendees, the added attendees will always be added into the list of recipients, unless the list now includes more than attendees. If the organizer adds a new attendee to a meeting that already has more than recipients, the new attendees will still be added.
This will help especially for meetings that have more than 2, recipients. Administrators in Exchange on-premises environments can choose whether to have a maximum number of recipients and, if selected, what the maximum should be. For meetings organized by someone in an Exchange on-premises environment, clients continue to use the legacy recipients property for both the list of recipients and the list of responses.
The table below lists which versions of Outlook have been updated with the new method of tracking responses to a meeting invitation. If your version of Outlook hasn't been updated yet, you'll only see up to up to recipients and their responses. If you don't need to know who responded to your invitation, see I don't want to see responses to my meeting invitation.
If you don't need to know who responded to your meeting invitation, you can turn off responses. When responses are turned off, you won't receive email when someone accepts, tentatively accepts, or declines the invitation, and responses won't be recorded in the meeting invitation.Psvr game keys

I send an email and select the option to notify me when it is read. I receive 10 or more notifications. I let these notifications sit in my inbox for a day or two. After which, they are moved to another folder. When I go into my sent items and look at the item, I am unable to see the tracking information. If I go and open one of the read receipts, go back to my sent items, I then can open tracking.
However, I only see that the person in which I opened the read receipt notification from has "read it". Look at the options in Outlook, under Mail, then Tracking. There are a couple settings in there that might be causing this to happen, namely "Update Tracking information, and then delete" and "After updating tracking information".
I just did a test for this and had it setup to "Update Tracking information, and then delete" and "After updating tracking information" options to move to trash. I received the reply in my inbox, and it's just sitting there. I look at the sent email and do not have the option to show tracking.
For HR reasons, we need to make sure they read the email. When composing the email, I choose under the options tab"Request a Read Receipt". Per a group policy, the clients do not have a choice, it will send a read receipt and this part is functioning correctly. The issue comes into play when I receive 75 read receipts.
If I look at the tracking on the original message I sent in my sent itemsit will not show me any information, or even let me look at the tracking. If I open a few of the read receipts manually, I then have the option to see tracking on the sent message, although to see the accurate results, I have to open all 75 read receipts in my inbox.
If that doesn't happen, you can double click on a read receipt and force tracking to update.I have been searching around for this answer but I cannot find it. When was this feature introduced and are there controls in place to change this behavior?
Is there maybe somewhere documented about this? View best response. Yes -- this feature is still in development, and we're planning to release it in Q4 of this year.
There are 2 attendee response properties: 1 the RecipientsList table that has each recipient and their individual response, and 2 the property used in MailTips to say "You accepted this meeting on September 21st. When we enabled the Tracking tab for attendees in the Outlook on Windows client, we discovered that Outlook on Windows was setting only property 2.
We're working on how to detect changes in property 2, and when we detect that change, we will update property 1 so your own response shows correctly when you view the invitation and then updating attendees' copies so your response is shown correctly to others. Good to know.Rccg church doctrine pdf
So you are working on bringing this to Outlook and it is already available in Outlook on the Web. Is this something we can control, so as admins we decide if we want to show responses to all participants or only to the organizer? Great to know that you are working on this feature. Are there any updates on this in the meanwhile?
First of all I would like to say that this option for attendees to track meeting responses is great.
Office 365 (Outlook on the web | Outlook for Windows/MacOS) - View/Track Attendee Responses
I have one additional question:. It seems like only organizer of meeting is able to see such users and not attendee. This makes a bit mess to users. From below thread it seems that the function that invitees can see the list of who has accepted the invite and who not is already active. Is that true? Also for Windows on Mac? So it seems that we have some issue within our company as Organizer see different people within meeting than attendee.
I will dig deeper within this and if I will confirm it. I will try to open incident via our premier support. So if my company is using officeis there a way i can see the other attendees, if they have accepted or declined, when someone else in my company schedules a meeting for me and others outside our company are included?

Hello, please see screenshot below. I sent out a calendar appointment to someone and she accepted it. I looked at the calendar appointment on her computer and it says she accepted it. However, I never got an email saying se accepted it and when I look at the tracking for the appointment it says her response is "none".
Maybe time for an Outlook repair? Its possible that the person you sent the meeting invite accepted the invite but chose "Do not send a response".
This will cause tracking to show no response. This is the current expected behavior in Outlook. This is something that should be changed. Did this solve your problem? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help.
